Getting the most from YuMOVE

YuMOVE supports over 2 million dogs a year globally*, as part of our mission to ensure pets live their best, most active life, for life. As a responsible dog owner, it is imperative that you take the necessary measures to ensure optimal results from our unique YuMOVE Joint Care formula.

Start out right

To get your dog started off on the right paw, we recommend doubling the daily amount of joint supplements your dog takes for the first 4-6 weeks, unless your veterinarian recommends otherwise. This important first phase helps our active ingredients reach their optimum levels more quickly, to support your dog’s joints.

When your dog should take their YuMOVE supplements

We know how easy it is to accidentally skip a supplement, but getting your dog’s daily amount in consistently is key for optimal results.

Keep to a schedule – To help yourself remember, you should aim to give your dog the supplement at the same time each day – for instance, at dinnertime, or just before their walk. Tie your dog’s daily supplement right into your daily routine!

Place your YuMOVE where it can’t be missed - We recommend keeping your pet’s YuMOVE somewhere where it’s visible. Whether that’s on the counter, near your dog’s food, or where you store your treats. Make sure your dog’s YuMOVE is somewhere you see every day.

Always give your dog the right amount of YuMOVE

Make sure that your dog always gets the correct daily amount of their joint supplement for their size. Larger dogs may need to take more than one tablet daily, it’s ok to give supplements all at once or to split the supplements throughout the course of the day. For example, half the amount in the morning and the remaining half in the evening. Whether you give your dog their supplement all at once or spread out throughout the day, it’s always best to give it to your dog at a time when you’ll always remember to do – consistency is key!

Does my dog need to take YuMOVE with food?

Your dog does not need to take their YuMOVE joint supplement at mealtime, although many pet parents will give their dog its daily YuMOVE as part of their mealtime routine.

Keeping pets active

Joint supplements help support mobility in dogs at every life stage, but in addition to giving your dog his or her daily YuMOVE Joint Care supplement, there are lots of ways to support your dog’s joint health.

Older dogs that are showing signs of occasional joint stiffness may need a few environmental changes made around their home. Stairs may become difficult for an older dog to manage on their own, using a dog gate to block off the stairs and keeping your dog on the first floor of their home can help keep them safe.

Modifying your dog’s exercise regime may also be necessary as they get older. Low-impact exercises such as swimming or a slow walk are great ways to keep dogs active while being gentle on their joints.

The more you know about canine joint care, the more you can help your dog lead their best and most active life. At YuMOVE, our mission is to help every pet lead their most active life. If you’ve noticed your dog showing signs of joint stiffness, consider starting them on our YuMOVE PLUS Extra-Strength Joint Supplement today.
